Missions Committee Doings - 2008

1. We gave a substantial gift to David Sitton’s To Every Tribe Ministries, for a building program at the campus.
2. We provided support and sent a 14 member team to Surfing The Nations, Honolulu in July – August.
3. We gave a substantial gift to Surfing The Nation in Honolulu, and to Kristin Flynn for hosting our summer teen’s mission’s trip.
4. We recently gave a special gift to Kristin to purchase vitamins and health care items to take to Bangladesh.
5. We provided support and sent a 18 member mission’s team to Watts, Los Angeles in May.
6. We gave a substantial gift to Glen Geraghty for hosting our Watts team in May.
7. We gave a financial gift to Women’s Health Resources to be an underwriter of their 2008 banquet, and a gift for the ministry to participate in a local Spring festival.
8. We sent a special financial gift to John Bell in Zimbabwe to assist with his enormous expenses.
9. We supported our 10 regular missionaries on a monthly basis, and occasionally supported 3 others as their needs arose.
10. We are seriously considering sending another missionary family out to Japan from our church in the near future.
11. We will be participating in Operation Christmas Child’s ministry this Christmas season, and we will send gifts to all our missionaries this season.
