This week we drop in on Abram who is flush with military victory in Genesis 14. Normally, I plan to cover several chapters with each sermon, so as to get through this 50 chapter book of Genesis some time before the Parousia!
However, 3 of the most curious verses in Genesis are quietly tucked into Chapter 14. These verses have MONSTROUS importance in the NT. I'm tempted to end this Sermon Preview right here and let you figure out which verses I mean and what their NT connection is! (Stop reading here and give it a try!)
If you really want to dive deeply into this week's sermon, give a careful read to Heb. 7:1-18. I dare say you will be swept up in the captivating and majestic swept of Scripture concerning the majesty of Christ!
I simply cannot thank you enough for praying to God for me as I work on these sermons week after week! Pray that I see all the proper connections to Christ in Genesis! H
