As Spurgeon alludes to, there is no such thing as a lone ranger Christian. Union with Christ (i.e. salvation) necessitates union with all of him, including his body, the church (Eph. 1:22-23; 1 Pet. 2:4-5). And Christ’s church is expressed in a very real and visible way through local churches, just like this one. Church membership at EBC is our way of faithfully responding to this truth. We desire for all Christians to be in vital connection with a local body of believers and would love the chance to talk to you about potentially connecting with ours!
